A day at the Lodge

Checking In

Checking In Checking In The vacation starts in our beautiful lobby where you and your pet are greeted by our staff. After check-in, our guests are met by their personal concierge, escorted to their private suite where a special treat, fluffy bed and fresh water await. After they have settled in, they are shown around the Lodge and taken to the outside play areas where the fun begins. Our lobby is also used as an additional indoor play area.

A Typical Day

Yukon and Scout getting love and attention A typical day at the Lodge includes important human interaction. All guests are taken out by their caregiver to their private bathroom areas 2 to 3 times in the morning, 2 to 3 times in the afternoon and once before bedtime. Depending on your pet’s preferences, an outside break can take 15 minutes or last for over an hour. In addition to these outside breaks, all pets have the opportunity to enjoy the toy box in Rerod’s Lounge, accompany their caregiver to the porch for a break, or help the receptionist answer phones in the lobby before returning to their private suite to watch TV, take a nap, or enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Our goal is to spend as much time with your pet as possible.

Outdoor Parks

Outdoor ParksOur guests can’t wait for their turn to go to the park. Here at K-9 Country Lodge, we feature an extensive park system which accommodates 22 guests who can run and exercise in their own private area at one time! We have open grassy parks, shaded wooded parks, and parks with wading pools that spark the interest of all guests on a warm, sunny day. Our fencing has been engineered with safety in mind. The heavy gauge, sturdy fence is 8' high with 1 foot buried underground (for our digger friends) and 1 foot on top which is angled inward (for our climber friends). We have over 3 acres of fenced-in area which is perfect for free running or a fast game of frisbee.
